Lee Jae-myung

President of South Korea since June 2025, politician of the Democratic Party.

Lee previously served as mayor of Seongnam, governor of Gyeonggi Province and leader of the Democratic Party. After the removal of his predecessor Yoon Suk-yeol he won the snap presidential election of 3 June 2025.
