Masoud Pezeshkian
President of Iran since July 2024.
Pezeshkian is a cardiac surgeon, served as health minister from 2001 to 2005 and was a long-time member of parliament for Tabriz. He is seen as part of the reformist camp; ultimate authority in Iran rests with the Supreme Leader.
