Xi Jinping
General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party since 2012 and President of China since 2013.
Xi also chairs the Central Military Commission and is considered China's most powerful leader in decades. Presidential term limits were abolished in 2018; in 2022 he secured a third term as party chief.
